The hot Denver housing market showed signs of cooling in July. According to the REcolorado July 2015 Report on the Denver-area Housing Market, July ended with 8,967 active listings of homes for sale, a jump of 19 percent from June. Inventory levels have seen five consecutive months of increases, rising 76 percent since February. Relative to previous years, however, inventory remained tight. Inventory was eight percent lower this July than in July 2014. Home prices remained steady. The average sold price for a single family home was $365,663 in July, down two percent from June, but still nine percent higher than in July 2014.
