I am dedicated to providing smart, creative, above-and-beyond real estate services to my clients. Today’s real estate market is competitive, and I work hard to create opportunities for my clients and give them the information they need to make good decisions. My approach is based on rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, advanced preparation, smart negotiation, and frequent communication.
I am a Co/Owner Broker at RE/MAX of Cherry Creek and a Member of the Board of Directors. Formerly, I was an economics professor at the Colorado School of Mines and then a Vice President at Analysis Group, a national economic consulting firm. I have 25 years of professional experience as a real estate agent, teacher, researcher and corporate consultant. I earned an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in environmental and resource economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
My clients benefit from my expertise in business and economics, my knowledge of Denver neighborhoods, my life-long love of architecture and design, and my strong communication skills. Real estate transactions can be stressful and are often related to significant life events such as marriage, divorce, the passing of a loved one, or the birth of a baby. I am motivated by a desire to help people through these life transitions. I am honest, ethical, and compassionate. I dedicate myself to making my clients’ real estate transactions enjoyable, predictable, efficient, and successful.
I am Co-Founder of Blue IRIS, a non-profit dedicated to providing information, professional resources, and support to women going through divorce, and I am a Real Estate Divorce Specialist™. I am also an active volunteer at my children’s schools and in the community. I am a volunteer assistant math teacher at George Washington High School. One of my most rewarding projects was bringing together interested parties to gain approval to build the City Lights Community Garden in Five Points.
I moved to Colorado in 1998, first living in Golden and then in Park Hill. I moved to Stapleton in 2004 and am now in my third Stapleton home. My life has taken me all over the Denver metro area. I have worked in Golden, Lakewood, Downtown, Stapleton, and Cherry Creek, and my kids have gone to school in the Golden Triangle, Montclair, Park Hill, Five Points, Centennial, and Stapleton. My clients benefit from my broad-based, “street view,” neighborhood knowledge.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like adventure – I have climbed 14ers, ridden my bike from Durango to Colorado Springs, lived in Turkey, and traveled in Mongolia – but I also like quiet time – walking with my dog and relaxing with a good book.
